Are you looking for a live-out, private chef or home cook for your home?

My name is Monya and I am based in Wokingham, Berkshire.


I am looking for opportunities to gain more experience as a private chef by preparing and serving delicious, interesting, exciting, healthy meals for busy families in a 13 mile radius from RG40. I specialise in low carb cooking, but can turn my hand to anything given my experience.

I have a solid understanding of food safety, allergy and dietary requirements and work quickly and quietly, always ensuring my (your!) kitchen area is clean and tidy.

I will plan your family’s meals and take care of all the shopping and preparation. More importantly, after dinner is served, I will leave your kitchen immaculate.

 

MY EXPERIENCE

I am a trained chef and recipe developer based in Berkshire. I am also a published cookbook author (of the UK’s no.1 best-selling low carb cookbook KETO KITCHEN, Kyle Books, London 2020 – with another one on the way!) In the past, I have worked for both Le Cordon Bleu (Culinary Editor) and The Fat Duck Group (Development Chef and Media Projects Manager). I am highly organised, highly creative and work well on my own or within a team. I am currently self-employed, mostly involved with recipe development and recipe editing jobs for clients all over the world.

Over the past 4 years (bar 2020) I have been the private chef for tennis star Grigor Dimitrov and his team over the Fever-Tree and Wimbledon Championships – and work right there in the kitchen of the home he rents out over the summer. I have been fortunate enough to meet and cook for Andre Agassi, Steffi Graff and Serena Williams when they were his guests. I take note of allergies, dietary requirements and preferences, and thoroughly enjoy the process of creating delicious meals for the team every day.
